2006- Resident Conductor, The Phoenix Symphony

  • Regularly conduct on each of the orchestra's major series including Classics, Pops, Family, & Educational (1st Season: 32 Concerts, 2nd Season: 65 Concerts)

2006- Music Director and Conductor, The Phoenix Youth Symphony

  • Conduct the organization's most advanced orchestra
  • Plan, oversee, and conduct the Guild's educational programs

2001- Music Director and Conductor, Lamont Symphony Orchestra and Opera Theatre

  • Conceived, developed and implemented two-year strategy to upgrade orchestra, resulting in national award-winning status
  • Selected 2003 Best College Symphony Orchestra by Downbeat Magazine
  • Winner 2004, 2005, 2006 ASCAP Award for Innovative Programming
  • Orchestra today performs before standing room only crowds

2001- Director of Orchestral Studies and Professor of Conducting, University of Denver's Lamont School of Music

  • Oversee all ensembles and conducting faculty
  • Teach graduate level conducting; Master's and Artist Diploma
  • Created one of the premier conducting programs in the country
  • Received Faculty Outstanding Merit Awards in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006

1997- Music Director and Conductor, Portland Ballet Company

  • Established orchestra; negotiated for live musicians instead of recorded music

  • Create programs and personally arrange music to suit the ballet company's budget

  • Programmed and oversaw all performances

2002-2006 Music Director and Conductor, Colorado Youth Symphony Orchestras

  • Supervised three youth orchestras; conducted most advanced orchestra

  • Oversaw school outreach programs, introducing students to orchestral music

  • Created Executive Director position; built new and dynamic Board of Directors

2001-2003 Principal Guest Conductor, Bolshoi National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Uzbekistan

1998-2003 Artistic Director/Conductor, Atlantic Chamber Orchestra (Portland, ME)

  • Founded orchestra; sole mission to develop new audiences for classical music
